I'm sure all of you Jersey Shore fans have heard by now that Snooki has officially confirmed that she is pregnant and engaged to boyfriend Jionni. Will she return to Jersey Shore? Most fans would say that she is the one who makes the show. Without her crazy shenanigans and drunken antics, fans fear that the show will not be as entertaining. Snooki has been lying to the media since February when the rumors began to swirl that she was pregnant. Despite weeks of denials, Snooki finally revealed she is both pregnant and engaged on the cover of US Weekly which comes out tomorrow. The magazine would not release how much they paid Snooki for her story. Snooki learned she was expecting a child shortly after the new year. Her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle popped the question on Valentine's Day from a balcony at the W Hotel in Hoboken. So what will happen to Jersey Shore, the series that made Snooki who she is? For at least nine months Snooki will be away from the bar/club scene but that is a problem for MTV, not Snooki. Snooki will not be going anywhere, she has a spinoff show coming out with co-star Jenni "JWoww" Farley. However, Jersey Shore will most likely be coming to an end. MTV released a statement saying "We wish Nicole a healthy and happy pregnancy, and congratulate her on her engagement. We support her as she starts this new chapter of her life. No decision has been made yet in a sixth season of 'Jersey Shore.'" This seems obvious that MTV knows Jersey Shore is slowly reaching its end. "A sober Snooki does not make ratings and no Snooki means no "Shore", said Matt Whitfield, a spokesperson for MTV. Snooki said if there is another summer of Jersey Shore she will "stop by." Snooki is not the only one straying from Jersey Shore, Pauly D is also getting his own spinoff show which starts later this month. They had a good run, but its time for the Jersey Shore cast to grow up and move on with their lives now. Thursday, March 8, 2012
Jersey Shore's most popular "meatball" is having a little meatball of her own!

Taylor Swift invites New Jersey teen with Leukemia to be her date for the Country Awards Show
I'm not really a fan of Taylor Swift but there has been an article in the media lately that caught my attention. A teenager from Stratford, NJ named Kevin McGuire was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just 13 years old. He beat the cancer and unfortunately it came back again. Kevin's sister Victoria created a Facebook page asking Taylor Swift to take Kevin to his senior prom on June 1, which is also his birthday. The page received support from nearly 100,000 people, including myself. I first noticed the article on Facebook and looked more into it once I saw my friends re-posting it and I realized the boy was a local. Taylor posted a response on her own Facebook page. Taylor couldn't make it to Kevin's prom but she gave him an even better offer. "I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom. But, I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up... Would you be my date?" I really gained a lot of respect for Taylor Swift after hearing about this. I hope Kevin McGuire feels up to going to the awards with her and has a great time! He truly deserves it and I can't wait to see them on the red carpet together!
